Key Tips
-
Prep

-
Prep
- Using one 150g eggplant and slicing it as evenly as possible ensures uniform cooking.
-
Meat Sauce
- Sauté the ground meat in a pan and season with ketchup, Worcestershire sauce, sugar, and salt to make a simple meat sauce.
-
Seasoning
- Adding 1/2 tsp of sugar enhances the richness of the ketchup and Worcestershire sauce, giving it a mild sweetness.
-
Assembly
- Roll the eggplant slices and gyoza wrappers together, then arrange them upright in the pan so the cut sides are visible.
-
Heat Control
- Cover and steam over medium-low heat until the eggplant is completely cooked through and tender.
-
Finishing
